Maybe I’ve been looking in the wrong places, but I’ve been unable to find any specific designation of the area where heavy trucks would be prohibited. Does it run, say, from Willey Street between Spruce and Chestnut to Foundary Street?
I was involved in an auto accident last Tuesday (8/12/14) with a 18 wheeler coal truck in downtown Morgantown. He swung left into my lane to turn right and cross the Westover bridge. When he swung left into my lane he side-swiped my car. From the front passenger side door back my car is smashed in and will need to be replaced/fixed. I was not injured but my car is damaged and because it is a 2009 (more than three years old) the best the insurance companies will due to either junkyard replacement parts or new generic parts. I fail to see how that is putting me back to my orginal state in an accident that was not my fault and was caused because a truck that was too large to make the turn in the downtown Morgantown area swung too far to the left and hit me. I do not follow social media but I do have pictures if you need them.
